I’m a marketing specialist with extensive hospitality sector experience.
Since setting up my marketing consultancy in 2021, I have worked with some of London’s leading hospitality businesses on their brand and marketing strategies and plans. Both on short term projects and longer term retainers.
In my in-house role prior to this, I spent 5 years at Dishoom, a restaurant company paying loving homage to the Irani Cafés of Bombay. Leading marketing strategy and planning for Dishoom, I managed a team of 5 marketing managers and worked alongside the internal multidisciplinary team (PR, Social media, Creative, Product Development) to grow the business from 4 to 8 restaurants, along with 10 delivery kitchens and an eCommerce store.
In 2013, I founded specialty coffee roastery Wood St Coffee together with my husband, Gareth. Starting as a market stall, the business has grown to include a coffee bar, roastery and online store. I’m no longer involved in the day to day aspects of the business but continue to advise on marketing and branding projects.
Earlier in my career, I worked for charities such as Cancer Research UK, Sue Ryder and Parkinson’s UK. Holding roles ranging from internal comms to health marketing and brand.

My Strengths.
Strategic.
I sort through clutter and connect ideas to find the best route to take your business from where you are now, to where you want to be.
Developer.
I see the potential in people and enjoy bringing it out of them. As an experienced people manager I can get the most out of your team.
Collaborative.
I bring people together towards a shared goal – whether internally within the business or engaging freelancers and agencies.
My Values.
Freedom.
Flexibility and autonomy are important to me. I'm comfortable with owning things and running with them, and like to be able to keep an open mind about how things are done or problems solved.
Connection.
I thrive when I have other people to work alongside. As I'm freelance, this looks like working with my clients as an extension of their team and collaborating with other freelancers and agencies.
